Amavasya, channeled message
I sat down to do a reading for Amavasya and was guided to share this nighttime routine for the collective. It’s not something that’s not something you are supposed to do on just Amavasya. If it feels good, do it for a few weeks. This isn’t just self-care, this is energetic alignment. When you create this kind of gentle, feminine night routine, you signal to your body that it’s safe to rest, and you allow yourself to enter sleep in a deeply relaxed state.
This is to awaken the feminine energy within you, to help you feel safe, soft, and relaxed before you sleep.
Here’s what you can do:
They say, ‘men shower, women bathe. So try taking a long shower. Add a few drops of Gangajal to the water if you have it. Let the water feel like a blessing. Cleanse not just your body but your energy field. Gangajal is very powerful and healing.
Dim the lights in your room. Create a soft, nurturing space, one that feels peaceful and beautiful to you.
Do some slow, intuitive dancing or stretching. Not to perform, but just to move your body gently, to awaken that divine feminine energy. Let grace, sensuality, softness lead your body.
If dancing or stretching isn’t your cup of tea then dip your feet in warm water.
Spray a calming scent on your bedsheet or pillow.
Play soft, relaxing music. Let it hold the space for you as you wind down.
Do a bit of slow breathwork. No force. Just allowing your breath to slow down and settle naturally.
Apply your skincare slowly. Touch your skin like you’re offering it love. Let this be an act of care, not routine. If you are into affirmations, you can say some positive affirmations or better, just thank your body. It is your vessel that has carried you through so much.
Give yourself a warm hug before you go to sleep.
Society has made us hate our body which is awful because we don’t give love to things we hate. We despise and ignore them. The more you love your body the way it is, the more you will be able to listen to it. When you will listen to it, you will respect it and take better care of it. Don’t wait to reach a number on the weighing scale before you give your body love.
